I really wish I was a PC gamer so I Could use that one mod which allows you to get your companions from whatever origin you chose so my lady aeducan can finally be with Her Heart.
question:
why is it that every origin has a devestatingly charming, unromancable male escort for you pc?
allow me to explain by example. i may personally find them to be charming of...varying degrees, but considering the overall fan response, my point is still valid:
Human Noble (Coulsand) - Ser Gilmore
Circle Mage (Amell/Surrana) - Cullen
Dalish Elf (Mahariel) - Tamlen
City Elf (Tabris) - Neleros
Dwarf Noble (Aeducan) - Gorrim
Dwarf Commoner (Broska) - Leske
and they arent romancable. none of them are romancable.
Any chance of a M!Cousland/Dairren? Or perhaps a M!Aeducan/Gorrim? Or a M!Brosca/Leske... Oh, the options!
As a story? Hrmm, not sure. I do have vague plans of doing a powerhungry!mCousland playthrough at some point (to marry Anora and become king, mwahahaha) but I'm not sure if I'd ever actually write about him.
As far as dwarves go, I did write a m!Brosca/Zevran fic previously; not my best work, as it was my first DA fic and my first story written in a fandom where there was all this canon happenings and dialogue to figure out what to do with (I wrote in TS2 before this, which was more "do whatever the heck you feel like doing, and oh hey, have some random supernatural creatures and strange objects to go with that...". Anyway, it kind of suffers from too much sticking-to-in-game dialogue, especially in the first half (I loosened up a bit towards the end).
If someone prompted for them some time when I was taking prompts, I could definitely come up with something for any of the above :)
