Happy Barn Day, United States of America! Observed the second Sunday in July, Barn Day gives us an opportunity to appreciate the utilitarian beauty of barns of all shapes, sizes, colors, uses. Some of this stamp enthusiast’s fondest memories from my youth are of barn dances and barnspotting (easy enough, when the backroads of Pennsylvania have, so says I, the most beautiful barns in the country). If you’re lucky, maybe you’ll even be invited to a barnraising....!
