A “beauty and the beast” story?
Please, everyone: George R R Martin says that Jaime&Brienne’s arc is kind of ”beauty and beast”, does he? So, in the Beauty and the Beast, at one point, the Beauty walks away, leaving the Beast alone (and quite miserable). I think that this is what happened here.
