2. (writer who thinks like me) There are a lot writers who’s style I’ve read and thought ‘this is the absolute greatest, holy shit’ but I don’t know if that’s indicative of them thinking like me? If it is, then just naming a few off the top of my head I really like Ian Irvine, Robin Jarvis, Guardian1 and K_dAzrael.
4. (do I like my name) when I was a kid at school everyone kept telling me it was weird so I wished I had a more ‘British’ one so they would leave me alone, but the older I got the more it felt nicer to stand out from the crowd. It’s got more popular recently in the UK so now I hear it now and again, but for the most part it’s pretty rare here so yeah, I like it a lot.
10. (do I have a creed) "Be Nice” I guess. How successful I am at that is debatable xD I used to be a real ‘tell it like it is’ asshole (and probably still am, with the people I’m closest to)
15. (five most influential books) uh, that’s some pretty vague criteria, I don’t think there’s ever been a book where I’ve actually changed my life because of it. But some books that rocked my world when I read them: Brave New World, the Whitby Witches series, Empress Orchid, Sapiens, and The Amazing Maurice and His Educated Rodents (seriously, read it)
20. (would I rather live somewhere else, Hogwarts etc) this is the story of my childhood lmao - pretty much every series/game/book I’ve ever been really into, I’ve wanted to live there. Nowadays I’m content to live vicariously through fanfic.
23. (how often would you want to see your family every year) I’m lucky enough to live like 15 mins from my folks at best, and we usually see each other every 2 weeks or so (just enough time for a nice reserve of news/gossip to build up).
24. (have you ever felt ‘the mind meld’ with someone) like a strong sense of being on the same wavelength? yeah, several people - close friends and Ma Boiiiiii~
25. (could I live as a hermit) No way, I enjoy talking to people too much.
29. (3 songs I connect with) uhhh, to be honest I don’t have any. I tend to just listen to things that go ‘oontz’ to keep me focused while I’m drawing, rather than things to give me the feels. If you want three things that go ‘oontz’ that I’m particularly enjoying right now: Neil Cicierega’s “Wallspin”, Fever the Ghost’s “Source” and Slocaus’ Funk Overload remix of Rasputin.
