Disappearing Act | Thor & Bruce
Thor wasn’t aware Bruce had a history of disappearing. There were a lot of things Thor didn’t know about his Midgardian friends, and most of it were their lives efore he joined them in the battle against the Chitauri. He knew Steve was a man out of time and Tony had more money than most people on Midgard combined...but not so much about anyone else. Truthfully it was his fault for not asking. He had been on Earth for three years, he had plenty of time to get to know people more. He just...didn’t?
When he saw Bruce in the common area is when he realised he hadn’t seen him in months. He was busy taking care of his life; his one year old twins, his fiancee, thinking about his wedding...he didn’t have much time to consider his Avengers friends. He really did have a lot on his plate, which is why he decided to take some time for himself. Jane wanted time with the twins anyway, they had been seeing a lot of him lately and he wanted to give them time with their mother.
Walking over to the fridge, he grabbed a carton of milk and poured it into a clean glass from the cabinet, bowing his head at Bruce as he walked passed. He took a nice large gulp before he put the carton back in the fridge.
“Afternoon, Bruce,” He smiled, wiping the milk from his moustache. “It’s been a long while. How have you been, my friend?”
