This is why I love the Guardians trilogy, I love James Gunn's satisfaction in his own work and his ability to move on, how that makes the trilogy that much more special, why I hate the Russos, and why I don't want to see the Guardians in Doomsday at all. The Guardians trilogy is alive because it was allowed to end, but the MCU can't let anything die ever.
