Don't get me wrong, I love punk!Steve just as much as the next person but I don't think that sub genre quite fits Steve. I feel like it only works if he's introduced to it in season 1-2 because he's got so much pent up anger that it works with his character. The music gives Steve a healthy outlet for his aggression and he slowly over time adopts the political stances and the wardrobe change is a natural progression. But in season 3 and 4 Steve is just sad and kinda pathetic, he would fit in better with the goths (not saying goths are pathetic, just Steve). I think he would still be introduced to the subculture through the music and everything else would come later.
