A/N: Someone requested Goth partner headcanons, and I had to jump right on it bc Goth x Metalhead is the perfect pairing in my mind! It just works so well.
Summary: Headcanons for Faust with a goth partner
I don't think that the goth scene in Norway in the 90s was very prominent, if there even was one at all. So, I think you’d be the first goth person that Faust has ever seen. He’d be confused at first, unsure if you were a part of some metal subgenre that he’d never heard of. He’d never seen anyone dressed like you before, but he’d be completely love-struck.
Faust would be intimidated by you, likely to the point where he would struggle to approach you on his own. He would either need a good push or for someone else to make the introduction.
This man would be so distracted by your makeup that you’d notice and comment on it. He’d be tripping over himself to explain that he thought it was cool and that he’d never seen anything like it. He’d ask you what your deal is, and you’d have to spend an hour explaining it to him.
Once you start seeing Faust, you’d show him Goth music, and I honestly think he’d like it, or at least something that’s a combination of both your favourite music genres, like doom metal. I don’t see him being nearly as rigid about music as Euronymous.
If you asked Faust to help you with your corsets, he’d be a bit of a wimp about it. He’d be scared of hurting you and wouldn’t want to pull it too tight. ‘I can’t pull it tighter, I’ll break your ribs!’ You’d roll your eyes and insist that no, he wouldn’t, but you’d end up using your bedpost or something to do it yourself while he watches, grimacing as if he’s waiting for you to collapse.
Despite being slightly afraid of your corsets, he would love the way they look on you and is very much obsessed with your intricate outfits, even if they meant that he’d be sitting around for over an hour every time you’re getting ready to go out together. He’ll happily sit there and watch you do your makeup and help you with your jewelry.
I think that the two of you would look so good together. You’d always be matching, dressed in all black everything, and when you weren’t and you had a bit of red or purple in your outfit, Faust would let you go through all his t-shirts and find one with a band logo that matches. He would love matching, too. The first time you bring it up, he’d get this goofy smile on his face because you liked him so much that you wanted it to be painfully obvious to every person who saw you that you were together.
