Gotham reimagining where Harvey Dent is NOT the guy in season 1; that guy can be replaced with an original character, maybe even Harvey's older sibling or cousin or something; but instead is that kid in season 4, Alex, that Bruce befriends!!!

my off-the-dome rewrite: the historian's grandson is, in fact, Harvey Dent. we can say he's living with his grandfather because his mother died and his father didn't want custody. he becomes fast friends with Bruce, just like in canon, and has the same arc after his grandfather dies. instead of dying himself, he's sent back to live with his father. he can be pretty minimally in the show, mostly just talked about, but it's made clear that they're becoming very good friends and that they keep in touch after Bruce leaves Gotham. HEY? AM I COOKING SOMETHING UP OR WHAT??

Hello Gotham fans! 🦇My Discord community and I are making a game.

Basically, the plot is set between the end of season four and the beginning of season five. After the destruction of the bridges in Gotham, when the city had become a war zone and the villains were fighting for control.

Bruce is looking for Jeremiah because he hasn't been heard from. When he finds him, they start fighting, which ends with Jeremiah falling from the building, severely injured and hitting his head.

When he wakes up, he seems to have lost his memory.

From these two events, the following plots are triggered:

🖤 Brutal gang wars of the villains

🖤 The appearance of crimes apparently committed by Jerome

🖤 Later on, a story arc where "mother" will be the main villain.

idk if it's constant, but i just noticed that some of the holding cell bars in Gotham s1 don't actually reach the top of the cell, they have irregular heights and are topped with spikes/spearhead shapes
