the kid had been hanging from a flag pole. just hanging there, observing as superman fought ultra-humanite. it wasn't until the villain was safely controlled by metropolis police that clark turned his attention to the kid. the kid who said his name was robin, he was from gotham, he worked with batman. he'd then taken the kid back to gotham, and set him down on the roof next to his supposed mentor. robin glanced at batman and then ran from the roof, more like he was going to find some new trouble than being afraid of batman.

' is that seriously your kid? '

"So you DO pay attention to my tricks? Awww Batsy, I knew you cared!" With a delightful smile on her face, she takes a single step backwards and with a display of acrobatics hops onto the barrel, crossing her legs as she slowly shifts back and forth. Causing the barrel to move with her actions. One sudden move, and it'll fall in either direction: the waters, or the floor.

"Well, you see, it takes time and resources to be creative! So I'm always plotting, scheming, pondering and designing! But sometimes I just want your attention, or that of the GCPD, or Gotham at large!! Does that mean I have to go and get myself a burn-out to come up with a new gag? Of course not!"

"It just means that we can turn to older laughs and give it a little twist, a little spit and shine! You remember when I did this last time? Well, this time, it'll be different."

+ " Good or bad ? " There might not have been a WALL where his own history was etched into, metaphorically or PHYSICALLY . But there WAS enough of it locked inside his own head . As much as the JOKES masked the nervousness that came every-time he put on the mask , there was more than ENOUGH that he couldn't fully mask no matter how hard he TRIED to . Events that had left such a deep WOUND on his very soul that some had been AMAZED he was still going , still able to PUSH forward from events that would have broken others .

Oh, Thad knows he probably should be considering what he's heard about Gotham's own Batman, but that doesn't stop him from stepping up and trying to poke-the-bear so to speak.

"And why's that?" He challenges.

"I-it's not MI6!" Q said quickly, failing spectacularly at trying to sound calm. "J-just me. They asked me t-to do an update t-to the security system. They w-wanted an outsider."

Two-Face's sprees are often spirals, his mental state in decline, clinging harder and harder to the coin, to being one of those oh-so-superstitious criminals that has to glance twice over their shoulder to ensure Batman isn't waiting around the corner.

There are moments where he no longer sees Batman as a friend or even a past ally, but someone who seeks to hurt and punish him. There are moments where Two-Face takes over completely.

"I've hurt too many people to go looking for help now."

Meanwhile, the hostages Two-Face had been keeping quickly and quietly find their way out with the help of the police standing by.

Everyone's fine this time, though Two-Face would argue that he and Harvey still had evidence to convict those hostages - they all seem shaken enough that the encounter was likely punishment enough for whatever misdeeds they could be 'accused' of.

"It's so hard to keep fighting. I try, but - I lose. Everyone around me loses, too."

Always out of nowhere but never uncalled-for. At the sudden sound of the glass falling to pieces, the clown promptly moves back, covering the side of his face with his arm. Frenzied eyes soon find the vigilante. “Batsy.” Clasping his hands together, the corners of his red lips shift upward in a malicious smile. “You know how to make an entrance. But how ‘bout you try gettin’ through the door next time?”
