I had such a dream last night. I was floating above the trees with my lips connected to... to those of a beautiful figure, for what seemed like an age. Flowery treetops sprung up beneath us and we, um... rested on them with the lightness of a cloud.

There was so much discomfort floating around their shared mind that Q almost walked the whole way round the revolving door and headed back onto the street. But a deal had been struck and if Q were to back out there would be a list of people asking 'why?' And no reasonable answer since Q was supposed to have no history, and Marcus was supposed to be gone.
Thankfully, all data suggested he would be working with general staff and the... least likely to notice anything is off member of The Seven.
So, there he sat in his favourite green jumper and his personal laptop hooked into Vought's surveillance system, attempting to look as though he was nothing but another IT specialist helping Vought out.
The chairs were more comfortable than he had been expecting, which was impressive given how little the company seemed to care for the general staff. Q's eyes kept flickering to the side, wondering whether The Deep actually understood any of the code he was adding to the system; the urge to add his own surveillance software was high, but there was always the risk that someone with a brain would check his work.
"So, how long was it that you said you've been in this role?" Q asked as he leaned back in the chair, doing his best to offer the American a smile.

Should it probably be concerning that he’s just talking like he didn’t just kill a man?
Probably a little bit, but this was just another day that ended in Y for Soap.
The beep catches his attention and Soap has to look up, a little grin immediately present “Well what’s this wee lil guy? Nae seen one o’ these wee lil guys--’cept the ones I got rigged with C4. Bit wee from the usuals.” Though that had an idea in his head and he was already patting down his vest.
Shotgun rounds, scissors, duct tape... nope, that meant the film tube currently being occupied with the concoction had to be left at the hanger they were currently calling an HQ. “We make it outta here, I got an experimental RAM you can have t’ paint him in. Make it harder for radar detection—just promise y’ won’t get it on yourself, burns like hell.”
A friendship offer if some homemade RAM paint could even be called that. If anything, this was just another attempt to get the guy a bit more comfortable.
"We don't really have a lot of people that work together to deal with imminent issues the way your team can." Q pointed out. Sneaking around didn't really call for multiple people since it just meant they were more likely to be discovered. Which was fine in some situations. Like this one... apart from the fact that Marcus had gotten Q into this mess and now he was stuck dealing with the outcome.
All of the Quartermaster's concerns seemed to instantly melt at the way Soap spoke to the little drone. "Ah, he's- it's a prototype, Gizmo for short. He can lift a surprising amount but I would prefer not to blow him up. He's a closed-circuit AI that I developed that only exists inside his drive so, if he was destroyed, it would be-" Heartbreaking. "A long job to fix him."
He really lit up at the offer of the paint, nodding so eagerly that his glasses slipped a little down his nose as eager green eyes stared up at Soap with an intensity that he hadn't had before. "Yes, please. That would be useful. He's small, so avoids most detection instruments, but systems to locate drones are getting better every day and I would prefer he were safe."
After a pause, he let Gimzo go to fly around their heads. The little drone did excited flips and doughnuts and generally acted more like an excited kitten than a robot should. "He should stay with us, will he get in your way if he flies?" He asked, as though the drone had actual feelings and keeping it caged unnecessarily was a cruelty.

"Nope. No heatwave for me. You can't make me go outside. I will stay in the office with my lovely, lovely air conditioning."
"Alright", Kylo groaned as he straightened up. His expression was neutral. "Then I'll have that ice cream date all for myself, I guess. The therapist said I should treat myself better, after all."
Q hesitated for about 5 seconds, his fingers lingering on his keyboard before he turned to look at Kylo with narrowed eyes. "We can eat ice cream here." He pointed out, not really appreciating the therapist comment. "Or you can invite them for ice cream instead." He grumbled as he turned back to his laptop.
"Nope. No heatwave for me. You can't make me go outside. I will stay in the office with my lovely, lovely air conditioning."
