u pour everything into all ur muses. ur altair sound like he literally stepped out from the game itself, better even bc u treat him with the respect and love that he deserves. and i hear him in everything u write, it resonates so much and so deeply that i sometimes read it and have to just. take a moment to appreciate everything. he is real, he is stoic, but he is also cunning and naive, almost. i love ur portrayal, everything about it. and ur fc is literally perfect. ILU LISA U ARE SO TALENTED
WENDY HOW ARE YOU THE SWEETEST EVER ? ? suddenly i do not know how to do english any longer because i do not feel like any term i know properly expresses how grateful i am ? i have been growing up with video games and assassin’s creed is such a huge part of my life for ten years already ? then, when only ac1 existed, i have already been in love with altaïr ibn-la'ahad because he was a flawed protagonist. a master assassin first until the very first mission you play leads to his demotion. i liked that about him. i LIKED that he was so different from other heroes you play in video games. but i also liked the many implications, the many details you are quick to miss in the game because the game itself i flawed by design, by the way how they are trying to tell a story. i could not be any happier that, after his 10th anniversary, i decided to give this blog a try. it has been an amazing experience until today and i can not remember that i have ever talked so much about my worries regarding my portrayal of a muse with other people ? i looked for opinions regarding modern verses. i looked for opinions regarding his religion. i looked for opinions regarding my face claim. i overall tried to be as respectful as possible about the original source ( such as the game, his codex, his story before the game, ) but also to go further than ubi ever did ( considering how they failed to create a face model for altaïr specifically that would represent his ancestry. ) to hear that my efforts and my aspirations for my interpretation of altaïr are noticed & appreciated makes me incredibly happy. and you even listed all the character traits i see in him ? he can be stoic. he can be passionate. naive. cunning. playful. anxious. sometimes even reserved. there are so many sides about him i see in all the little things we have been given beyond ac1 and i want to explore them all. as maria, his wife, told him once: i married a masterful storyteller. which is probably my most favorite thing about him. playing him in the game you would never guess that he is one of the most talented and most creative craftsman.
