the lore is confusing but calling rei an abuser is...sort of missing what abuse is. abuse isnt one bad psychotic episode. it's a repeated pattern of hurting someone through an upheld power dynamic. i think trying to frame her as an active abuser even with everything in the newer lore is incorrect because at worst she's neglectful, which is still bad, but i also think its very clear that she was under a lot of pressure. just because fuyumi was born and she said itd be good for touya doesnt make her an abuser, it means she was hoping she could make the best out of a bad marriage before she understood how bad it could get. i think shes very realistically written for what bnha is and i genuinely wish there was more abt her and her feelings esp after so many endeavor pity party chapters

i associate you with.... black and dark green and bleached blonde yellow, horrific angels with a bunch of eyes and wings and rings and fire, reclaimed christian-related religious iconography as an aesthetic overall, cemeteries and graveyards and abandoned churches and gothic cathedrals, red skies, dark circles and pale skin and glasses, functioning off of coffee, being the smartest person in the room but also being too humble to see it !!, purple and black ink, studying in the late hours, helping friends with homework while vcing them, meaningful discussions and analysis, overall just dumping really well-thought out analyses to ur friends and then saying something like “yea but like idk thats just my perspective”, spiders, big headphones and cool computer setups with blue LED lights, those smart ass anime characters that do that glasses thing, white bones, reclaiming holidays by celebrating them with friends you see as family . you’ve been VIBE CHECKED !!

i like it!! ibara is a really cool character and i love her personality and quirk <3 i also like that she's resistant to kaminari's attacks and was able to easily defeat him, but that didn't stop him from wanting to get stronger and prove himself. they have a good rivalry going (though i think it's sort of one-sided? i can't remember)

kaminari is a fave so i like seeing him interact with a lot of the characters and i really love ibara too. i think that their ship would be really interesting!! ibara doesn't really take any of kaminari's bs but she's also very kind so i like to think they would get along really well. like, she's not going to be a pushover but she also will treat kaminari kindly, and kaminari is very chill and relaxed so i think he might also help her loosen up a little. they work well together honestly!!

i stopped reading dotc bc i was so shocked this book for 10 yr olds put an "yeah i fucked your dad shitlips" plot in it but objectively speaking it is VERY funny
