Did the Marathon Crash ride and it was fun. Most of us got lost and just followed another bicycle but they also were following someone else that was lost so we all wound up lost at the pier lol

Had Juneteenth off from work so james and I went for a small picnic. I also installed my new bike basket that day, sadly it was smaller than I needed and my bag fits crappy in it now. But I’ll just deal. Guess I needed the XL size. 😭😭😭

Last Saturday

So much fun.

Been without a bike for week, on the ride home Saturday I noticed my gears fucking up on me. I got home safe. James and I decided to take the bike in to the shop and it’s been there for a few days. I got some good news today that my bike repairs aren’t as crazy as we thought and it was an ok fix. One less worry.

Bike homies were helpful and I do want to get a back up bike or loaner to try out. Gotta schedule a time when. In reality I am only available on Saturdays and it annoys me.

I hope to get by bike back by Friday. We shall see. Not having a bike has left me grounded and I refuse to go anywhere in the car.

Oct 4th the Skitchers had a ride and I was able to participate! It was a lot of fun, biked to the beach and met up at the jetty. Drank some beers and we stopped at all the stops. I didn’t drink at 2 stops. Ate a lot of snacks lol.

Got home late af but not alone anymore. Awesome.
