First layers of colourful paints: decorating the walls of the top floor of my castle tower dollhouse.

Enjoying the steps I'm taking, after seeing a dull white room for years.

I have found the right design for the library walls: maximalistic gotic wall paintings.

Some of my ideas and inspiration.

Before installing the second LED light strip, I have to finish painting.

After this first layer of paint, probably many will follow: black and/or brown washes plus highlights? I'm not sure yet.

I'm building my dream castle tower dollhouse in 1/12 scale; mostly sculpted paperclay. The doll in the first photo is one of seven inhabitants of the castle tower.

First floor: armoury with blacksmith shop.

Second floor: the Great Hall.

Third floor: the secret library with vaulted ceiling.
