I continue the series of posts where I share my artwork material. Today I’ll show you the surfaces I work on. 1 - not very expensive but really good paper for gouache by Palazzo, 235 gsm. It has a smooth surface and is good for many layers technique. 2 - paper for acrylic paint by Art Format, 200 gsm. I used it once and don’t really remember is it good or not😄but I can say that acrylic paints are the most undemanding paints I’ve ever used, so I think they don’t necessary need special paper. 3 - my very first good watercolor cold press watercolor paper by Fabriano, I still use it sometimes, very good quality. 4 - my favorite hot press watercolor paper Moulin du Roy by Canson. 100% good for watercolor, especially for gradients, but now I use the back of it for gouache paint. 5 - one more acrylic paper pad by Sonet, 400 gsm. I mostly use it for oil sketches, cause paint on the surface dries very fast, what I don’t like about acrylics. 6 - primed cardboard. I use it for acrylics and oils. Advantages: paint dries fast, cheap. 7-8 - primed canvas on cardboard and on frame. Adorable with each of the sides😀 #art #artpaper #artmaterials #gouachepaper #canvas #watercolorpaper (at Belgorod) https://www.instagram.com/p/CC0ofDVhtBm/?igshid=1wepfi26a8uce
