Place: Gourdough’s Location: Austin, Texas Donut: Son of a Peach (plain donut smothered in cream cheese icing, spiced peach filling, cake mix topping, cinnamon and sugar with honey butter) Gourdough's currently has three locations; one of them being a food truck in the heart of Bouldin. Offering a variety of smothered donuts, the donuts were made to order. The donut was crispy and the topping was amazing. The spiced peach filling, fresh icing, and cinnamon were in a perfect combination. There is no need to order more than one since they are super filling.

ate all the bad stuff yesterday

Work potlucks are a bad choice. So many tasty bad things I ate to excess. Cake balls will always be a great weakness for me AND the SO brought home a fresh maple donut from Gourdough’s last night. Now my stomach is paying for overloading on refined sugars. This is why breakfast is plain coffee and oatmeal with pumpkin in it.

Also, if you’re ever in Austin, go check out Gourdough’s. They fresh make your donut to order and it can be ridiculous or simple. Always divine though.
