Government Public Relations
In General, and in all sectors public relations is very important, and its responsible of the image of the organization or the public figure. In this blog we are going to focus more in talking and discussing government relations. As for public relations in general its related to interaction and communication with the public, its similar to government relations, it’s all about implementation of public policy, assisting the media in best presenting the government activities, reporting the news to the public and other agencies, in general to best present the government in better image to the public with the right speech or media content. (Government relations is the branch of public relations that helps an organization communicate with governmental publics). (Anderson, F., & Hadley, L. 1999). Government public relations is the link between the government and the public, it has effect on public opinion and how the public see their government or in specific their political figure. And social media lots of politician use social media platform to do their public relation and reach their public and persuade them with the good PR communication skills. The PR in general has its great skills that can have an impact on large number of people, diverse and multiple level of accountability that extend to general public opinion. Imagine how these skills could be beneficial to politician. Using the right words and content to reach out to their public. In conclusion PR is something that it is important in all sectors and it is simply the image, either you give the people the right image or not.
