I agree with you completely. Because I ship her with Johanna doesnt mean someone else cant ship her with Peeta or Gale or even Haymitch or Beetee if they so desire. When I start to have a problem is when they tell me that thats the only ship that makes sense and tries to shove it down my throat.
I think one of closest relationships Katniss had in the entire series was with Johanna: the pine needles, sharing living quarters, the hospital room, all of it. Thats a pretty solid foundation for romance if you ask me.
