#4 Goyokhon

This girl really does have something special. She’s very hit or miss, admittedly, but when she gets it right, I love her work! This is another one of the more simple, fashionable images from this week, and it’s probably my favorite one out of those. However, the simple shots just aren’t as exciting as the shots that have more going on - thus giving Goyokhon the 4th call-out this week. She’s the only girl this week to pose in full profile, and it totally works for me. The light is hitting her face perfectly, and it looks as if she’s just gazing into the distance. Definitely her best angle from what I’ve seen of her. The clothes also look pretty fantastic on her here. The garment is in the forefront and there’s no distractions, + she’s also selling the earrings here. The earrings are actually the first thing I notice here, so good job on that! This photo makes me doubt if the other girls posing with the standing camel were just extremely short or Goyokhon is really really tall, or at least she looks it here! The only thing I wish she’d changed was her disappearing arm that’s hugging the camel, but even that is not too big of a problem for me.

#13 Goyokhon

What the actual fuck happened here. This photo is so obvious and pedestrian. I can actually see what she’s going for with the pose, it’s formal and sailor-y, but it’s the furthest thing from modelesque I can think of. Unlike week 1 when I also ranked her last, she has now completely lost her model and I would’ve most definitely eliminated her for this picture. I mean, come on. I just really don’t get the weird, forced smile, and the eyes couldn’t be more unconvincing. Then the hand that isn’t up in the air is just clawed and stiff, as is the whole pose for that matter. The outfit doesn’t even look good - due to the raised arm, the shirt looks wider/stretched and it makes her torso look wide. I’m truly baffled she survived this week, I’m sorry.

#4 Goyokhon (right)

Here’s the thing, I hate that I love this shot! As I said in Batkhand’s write-up, it took a lot of time for me to start liking this, but now I actually love it, and I know that I shouldn’t. Honestly, most things are totally wrong here; she looks miserable and way rough, she’s totally slouched over and really not doing anything, and I like it? I can’t explain why, but this shot has such a raw, real fashionable vibe to it. Even though she looks rough, I can finally see Goyokhon’s real potential. There’s such a story and emotion behind the eyes too, and it pulls me in. Then the pose is just effortless and cool to me, and unlike Odnoo, it doesn’t read as awkward or stiff to me. I think the crop of the shot helps it too, though, as I think the close-up is just a bit more fashionable. Last but not least, the interaction is great too. Though Batkhand is doing most of the work, it benefits Goyokhon the most, and all I can say is good for her. I really, really like this shot!
