Here's an expansion of a certain scene.
I have mixed feelings on his appearance. On one hand, I'm VERY grateful for it, since I believe his appearance should be mandatory at every single Starlight event.
On the other hand, it breaks my heart that the last time we saw him before this was the Starlight event from 3 years ago. And he deserves better. Aymeric fans deserve better. He at least needs to be interactable on the world map, and not just forgotten about.
Either way, he's still the most important NPC in Icipher's lore, and nothing about that will ever change.
Azem's well-hidden hunger for bloodshed and destruction was insatiable. The Final Days were his salvation. The moment he'd been waiting for. Emet had hoped his fears regarding Azem's nature were unfounded, but the mask Azem wore no longer hid the monster he truly was.
When the final days began, Vulcan had already contained and fused his soul with his life's greatest work: The Primordial Flame. It was the perfect testing grounds for his creation, a vessel to contain an entity from beyond the stars and our comprehension. Within his grasp was unfathomable power to play with as he pleased. Power to destroy, to feed his neverending desire for death and blood and suffering. He spent the days before the sundering roaming the streets destroying blasphemy and fellow ancients alike.
Soon he would seek out his dear friend Venat, and offer unto her the weapon he had created and become- not to save the star as he promised her, but to continue what he'd started in the distant future.
