I am crazy about pregnant Gerard, and any mention of pregnant Gerard makes me wake up and stare into the darkness... My activation word.

Actual headcanons under cut!

Baby Uni Gerard. Medium-sized bump, with softness to it, all throughout the pregnancy. Small bump is just squishy soft, big bump is still kinda medium size and soft. Soft skin, soft baby kicks, the worst just as he's about to write an exam. Obviously.

Van Days... Let's just say they wonder how Gerard still fits in the back. Bump big and uncomfortable, one of those really round bumps, bigger than the actual baby that comes out.

Revenge Era is everything your influencers bumps are not. Stretch marks, weird colors, also big. Makes Gerard look like he has twins almost, but it's just one fairly big baby. Can't close his blazer over it. Bottom-heavy.

This TBP Gerard has a very aesthetically pleasant bump. Just an extension of his body. Smoth, just a bump on his middle. Not the biggest, but also not the smallest. Similar to the uni one in my head, just really uncomfortable because for some reason the baby is also fairly big despite his bump being normal-sized. A lot of complaining and back rubs and foot massages.

Additionally: the black parade. Death and Rebirth. And behind closed doors there's this sweet baby - he's pregnant throughout Christmas and just sitting on the floor, onesie on, stretched over his bump, one of his hands on his bump, other.... lower. By the christmas tree. He congratulates himself on his timing - death and rebirth. His biology is GENIUS. Present for a new year? A BABY!

This post-TBP Gerard has a really rund and just defined bump. It's there, roundness protruding from his middle. Not too much fat over it, just his womb and baby inside. Gives him a lot of weird looks when the baby moves, but still. Just well-defined. Carrying low.

Honorable mention. He would probably have twins. Huge, uncomfortable. Aware that people think he's hot. Wearing skin tight clothes and kneeling on stage, on all fours. Has a maternity photoshoot that leaks online, just white linen sheets on him. Looks like a fertility goddess.

Management has an aneurysm. Gerard, though, has a whole album he'll secretly go through later. Just reminding himself, touching his soft middle. He liked it.

Danger Days Gerard doesn't show for the first half of the pregnancy AT ALL. Some protrusion, just this. But then he seemingly pops overnight. This Gerard would be carrying HIGH. TILL THE END.

I am plagued by visions... Alien Gerard and Ray, and Ray takes Gerard in and he starts noticing that Gerard is filling up their suits more and more and he's like whatever, but it keeps hapenning and finally asks Gerard about it. Gerard getting big so fast from pregnancy and baby weight and overeating from cravings that they sort of start lacking spacial awareness of how big their body is! Accidentally bumping their wider hips into tables and stuff and not fitting into clothes and spaces they used to and being a little dumb and confused about it! And Ray the proud father of however many children Gerard is carrying losing his mind over it can anyone hear me!

I think gerard pre-breakup would have a terrible time with pregnancy. throwing up daily, terrible back pain with the bump/scoliosis combo, unfortunately the postpartum depression would hit HARD. and dont even get me started on the paramour with how high pressure everything was and you add pregnancy hormones to the mix..... good lord. the band all pitches in to help though theyre sweeties to him. going out for 4am cravings and holding his bump up to give some relief, tying their shoes and giving back massages <3

The amount of times I had the mental image of Revenge Gerard on the bus, miserable, or the mansion period – he's unbearable, but he's also way too horny, and it's either crying and throwing up, or running around in circles because he needs to fuck right now. Not to add Gerard wouldn't be sure what to do with morning sickness: he feels awful, but also... kinda hot. No coffee for him, though. What a shame.
