I did them for fun as a break. ^^ But I'm not going to tag anyone, ahaha.
1. What is your favourite thing to do outside on a summer day? Swim in an outdoor pool! If I can, play in the sand at a beach. If it's hot, I just want to go straight to the water.
2. Tell me about somewhere you want to visit right now. Istanbul! We just learned about the covered marketplaces, where they came from, the history of trade, etc. that's 10 blocks long between these two giant mosques and I can't convey how much I love these little stall markets. And the mosques, the architecture, the food, and the Bosphorus Strait looks beautiful- just in general, I really really want to go to Istanbul.
3. Tell me about someone you’d like to visit right now. My childhood friend at Princeton. I haven't seen her months because we're both bouncing all over the world.
4. What do you think of people who do a shitty parking job in a busy area (i.e. taking up two spaces at the mall)? I point them out with a what the hell gesture. Driving is a lot of these gestures some days.
5. Opinion on the drinking age in your country/province/state/etc…? A little silly. People learn to drive before they learn to drink which... is worrisome. Still, I'm not a fan of the whole 'OH MAN I GOT SOOOO DRUNK' culture in general and youth tends to fuel that...
6. What do you do that feels most rewarding? Writing stories and painting full paintings. Stuff that I make with my hands (studio design projects) although sometimes in studio, the frustration takes away from the reward. ^^;;
7. Do you express anger often or do you tend to keep it hidden? I express anger as long as I don't think I'm in danger. I express anger viciously, going from straight repeated cursing to the loftiest of learned language, all to rip them a fucking new one. xD Comes with being passionate, I suppose.
8. Strangest pet you would want to own (within reason). A Golden Eagle or similar GINORMOUS BIRD OF PREY THAT COULD RIP OUT YOUR JUGULAR.
9. What sort of environment do you study best in? It's less the environment and more the mental state for studying. But generally, with good lighting, tea in hand, high ceilings above my head, a large desk to spread out on, and a song that I really like on loop on headphones.
10. What do you think is your most lasting achievement? One that I haven't achieved yet! But I guess this would be this at the moment. ;) http://npg.si.edu/outofmanyone/index.html
11. What did/do you excel at in school that you don’t intend to take further? That's hard... I don't like to let things go. But most likely I'm done with any formalized study of physics. Same things with philosophy. I'd love to learn more from time to time, but certainly it wouldn't be anything super serious.
