Here they were stuck in this weird and frankly kind of creepy city and the people here hold a flower festival? Each to their own he supposes. There probably wouldn’t be much else for them to look forward too and if he was being even a little bit honest Yuuto was pretty interested in it himself.
He wandered around the festival checking out all the attractions. There were game stalls, some sort of fairy circle activities, even a huge hedge maze.
The maze had offers for a free ice cream if one managed to make it out, but honestly who wouldn’t? It’s not like mazes are hard or anything. And the fairy circle just seemed a bit.. weird. We’re there actual fairies here? From what Yuuto had seen so far he probably wouldn’t be surprised.
Making his way to where he thought he’d have the most fun, Yuuto found himself in a nice street arcade. Shooting games, throwing games, even the one with the bobbing ducks! He was surprised how much effort was put into this place. Looking around again he was reminded of the local fair he had gone to with Nogami a while back. A few years ago if he remembered correctly. He sighed not even lying to himself on his homesickness, kicking himself mentally. It was a festival remember! Festival! This was no time for feeling sorry for himself of mopey about the past. It means having a nice good time and possibly talking to people. And he was going to have some fun here whether he currently felt like it or not. Jogging into the fray of the area he started hunting down something he’d enjoy.
He was minding his own business, staring down a ring toss stall in challenge, when he heard slight shuffling and badly stifled giggling behind him. Next thing he knew something was being pulled down over his head. Spinning around in surprise, he took off the offending item, staring down at the ring of small light blue flowers in his hands. Is this… A flower crown? Yuuto looked up at the girl responsible, confused and exasperated.
“Do you go putting flowers on every stranger you pass?”
