my dentist office used to have a receptionist who would call a whole week before my appointment. that always gave me time to get my shit together, be well prepared, actually floss and all that shit

the new one calls the day before. and i pretty much never answer my phone when it rings anymore unless it’s a number in my contacts. and i don’t check my voicemails because from numbers i don’t recognize because i assume they’re not important either.

well i just checked my one from yesterday confirming my appointment for today, for... about 30 minutes ago. 😠 

i think i’ll continue to have bad teeth just to spite them for their terrible receptionist.
