While recovering from surgery, I've got to spend some extra time in the ham shack. Decided to fire up the old Heathkit GR-91 receiver tonight and listened to lots of amateurs QSO's on single side band. Then I caught these guys(KJ4TSA in KY. and W0VMC in WI.) on AM on 7290kc's. Sounds like they are broadcasting from a local radio station. Big, clear signals with just a little band fade.
