Thunder-Beast Rising

Finally, after two years sitting in my wip folder, this is finished! I'll be selling a metal print at a local art show next month, but for now have the digital version, featuring my character, Graarkun!

So not exactly vore related but have mah big boi Graarkun rescuing some lost sailors in the middle of a storm (that he probably created ngl)

still a tad bit iffy about some lighting parts, but otherwise I think it’s done! Took me about 7-8 hours in FireAlpaca, and was actually based off of a real old sketch from last year or even before that and it’s hilarious to see how lanky and stretched out she used to be; her increasingly shrinking stature yet undoubtedly stocky and buff body type has been an A+ development.

so yeah finally drew Hrethi and Graarkun together w/ the first lighting up of the little town inside him (it gets way bigger than this later on). I only just now noticed the layering got weird in some places so I may try to clean that up eventually, but for now I’m just gonna sit back and hope it looks at least somewhat well done and composed. A reblog would be greatly appreciated since I worked so hard on this!

23: what’s your oc’s biggest secret? (pretty much drawing names outta a hat here)

Though he commonly claims he has no consistent memory of the events before being ‘blessed’, Graarkun actually knows full well his entire origin but refuses to tell anyone, even Hrethi, in fear his respected reputation be tarnished by the truth.

Man she is one of my favorite characters so this’ll have a bit more meat to it than the last two, but I’m totally happy to overshare!

13. Which of the 7 Deadly Sins best describes them?--She'd definitely fall under wrath just by her name, but she really encompasses all of them and more that are specific to the religion she grew up with (revenge, disownment, neglect to faith, etc.,)

15. Who do they hate the most?--She had a lot of self-loathing, but the person she hates/hated the most was her suitor who pretty much drove her to all the extremes she's taken. He's as of yet unnamed, but if she was to blame her unfortunate circumstances on someone else it would definitely be him (being able to see into the past she always blames herself more however)

37. Have they ever had their freedom taken away?--Yep. Multiple times. Surprisingly, though, she considers her curse with Graarkun to be the most liberating, since she actually hates change in of itself and it’s a pretty controlled environment (in a sense), and considers her time with the Burkaal the most binding and limiting, especially once it’s found out she’s a soul-searcher (which at this time was pretty much the most superstitious and untrustworthy thing you could be, what with the rumors of murdering those they hate and bringing them back to life as slaves)

45. What is the emotion they most commonly experience?--She definitely feels a ton of self hatred, but though she hates receiving pity from other people, she is almost constantly incredibly sad and regretful, since she can literally see her entire life flash before her eyes if she happens to lose focus. This is one of the big reasons why she gets drunk as much as possible, so even if that does happen, she won’t actually remember the bad reaction to it.

Man I’ve really gotta do more world building with her/soul searchers/sea vultures in general
