OC Concept
This is a rough draft for an OC idea I've been working on for my main writing project. A lot of important things are purposely open-ended or vague as I am still working on him and reading for as much accuracy as possible but, here is what I have so far:
(NAME PLACEHOLDER), born circa (BIRTHDAY PLACEHOLDER). Actor and singer most active during the 1940s and into the mid to late 1970s. He is known for his polite, perhaps shy and humble attitudes off the screen, as well as his versatility in roles: romantics, comedics, villains, noir leads, etc. One unique feature about him is that he was born with complete heterochromia iridium, two different eye colors, one blue, one green. Considering the time period, he'd feared it would likely hurt his career, especially after photography and films made their transition into color, or when he starred in a film he knew was to be color. Were there mixed reactions to his eyes, absolutely. He didn't believe he'd pass the first few screen tests. At some point during his career (date and reason TBA) he sustained an injury to his vocal cords that put him on the sidelines in both acting and cutting records, an incident that was widely publicized in various media circles, papers and columns. His return was questioned, but he was soon back to the silver screen after a lengthy hiatus to a reluctant audience. The injury to his vocal cords had transformed the voice they had once knew, and not for the better. As a result, the rest of his works grew mixed thoughts from critics.
But where films saw possible disadvantage, record execs and managers saw an opportunity to his new cadence. He shifted his focus more towards the music industry and narrating rather than acting, feeling disillusioned and betrayed by Hollywood, only taking on certain roles and projects. After a final album release he stepped away from fame, withdrawing from the public spotlight in favor of a calmer life. He no longer needed the rat race of press, the Hollywood that expected conformity and the Hollywood that drew him in and spat him out over change. And there you have it. Side fun fact: He hates Westerns, owing to the fact three he starred in were, quote, "the most dreadful pictures I've ever been in." Now, could this realistically have been plausible for the times? Who the hell knows. But he came to mind one day and, from what I've read at least two other actors, Colleen Moore and Gracie Allen had heterochromia so he wouldn't be that much of an outlier. I hope. What do y'all think?
Proof of life? Proof of life.

Few miscellaneous Eule facts! 🦉
• Eule has a habit of seeking comfort through scent. It's a tendency that she developed in her early childhood, as she would often steal articles of her parents' clothing to wear, or in most cases, use as a security blanket due to the clothing smelling like home.
• Among Eule's other anxious, comfort-seeking habits, she also has a fondness for the texture of smooth or silky fabric. Commonly pinching and rubbing the material between two fingers to help ground herself when she gets ahold of some. She finds that it also helps her focus as she thinks.
• With Eule's affinity for mint, she often enjoys taking trips into the wilderness with the intention of foraging for the plant, among other natural ingredients in order to make salves and balms for various purposes. Along with salve making, Eule also likes to forage for spices and herbs that will serve in making herbal bath tea sachets to soak in. She finds that it helps tremendously in keeping Merbian skin moisturized and caring for her small tattoo, with the added bonus of smelling good.
• During her times in nature, Eule also enjoys bird watching.
• Eule is not fond of strong storms, usually growing antsy and restless throughout the duration of the weather, especially in regards to loud, violent thunder. It's one of her more irrational fears, which leads her to avoid bringing it up for as long as she can out of embarrassment.
• Eule's knack for baking comes from both of her parents. While she frequently helped at her mother's side, her father too would bake simple cookies and small treats with ease in the little free-time that he got to spend with the family. While hand-sewing is a skill she was taught by her grandfather.
• In further regards to her parents, Eule's love for clocks and watches was sparked by her Father, who had gifted a young Eule an antique pocketwatch for her birthday. After winding the crown, placing the cold metal plating to her ear, and listening to the mechanical ticking, Eule was instantly charmed, finding a sense of ease in the methodical sound.
• While most items of personal luxury are scarce, Eule's favorite stone among jewelry is Garnet.
• Sleep is difficult for Eule regarding a multitude of reasons, however, her most frequently reoccurring nightmare is one in which she dreams that Newt will roll and fall off the side of the bed. This usually sends Eule sitting upright out of a dead sleep to panickedly grasp at Newt's spot nearby in attempt to catch her, only to find the little one still safe and sound.
The Royal Vionan Handmaidens
There were ten girls, all from the same system. Their parents were all officials of the Vionan Royal Family, so the girls had grown up there.
Each one was different, in appearance, personality, but not quite in age.
It was twelve years of running around in the courtyards, attending the yearly Flora Ball, and spying on knights.
Every girl was important to the princess, but there were three main best friends who were there for her, even after fifteen years of waiting for her return.
It was those ten girls that made royal life bearable for Magnolia after the end of The Clone Wars, and post order 66.
She wondered how Padmé's handmaidens were coping.
