For the WIP Game, I'd love to know more about/get a snippet from Rumors or Yuleball <3
Doing Yuleball for this ask since someone else also asked about Rumors, it’s an au where Harry finds out Cho’s going with Cedric early, and decides the only logical next choice is to go with Ron as “friends.” But he has a crush on Ron even if he hasn’t realized it yet. Ron says yes, as “friends.” But they end up kissing at the ball. Also there’s past unrequited Jilypad so Harry can find out about the existence of Bisexuality.
Here’s a little snippet!
“It’ll definitely feed the rumors, but can we share a bed for the night? I know we haven’t done it since first year, but…I just feel awful, I don’t think I’ll get any sleep without you and I don’t want to be grumpy on Boxing Day.”
Harry looked for a loose thread to play with on his dressrobes, but there were none, it was too immaculate for any. The ball grew even tighter if possible, but not with anxiety, with guilt.
“Sure, mate. Probably not much we could do about it now anyway.”
They sluggishly undressed. Harry felt the shadow of eyes staring at his back as he changed, but decided he was just imagining things. He shoved on his nightshirt, and collapsed onto bed. Ron took a bit longer to undress and get into his nightie, but came to bed eventually. He felt Ron’s hands curl around his waist as he dozed off.
