I will never forget where I came from. Ballet will always be my vessel for discovering myself and the world. I am so grateful for the art of dance; It saved my life and has given me purpose. Who knew something like Art could feel like church to me. The dance studio became a place for me to escape from everything that was going on around me. I didn't know that dance would take me around the world and allow me to inspire so many people. I hope this video makes people realize that you can never judge a book by its cover and something like ballet could give you strength, honor, and purpose.
