Back in December our company was hired to do airbrush tats in a Lambo for a Mongo DB Event here in Vegas at @theindustrial_eventspace . Wow that was fun but the close quarters and zero ventilation in the Lamborghini left me feeling very ill from the fumes of my own airbrush. That was a first. So I decided then and there to design a mask I could make for myself and my airbrush artists. The project got pushed as I had zero time back then when we were slammed. Fast forward and we have MUCH more time on our hands! Suddenly those masks became very important. When everything shut down I put my sewing hat on and started sewing. It's all I could do for my peeps on the front lines like my friend who's 80 years young Lynne at the grocery store or my neighbor Dave keeping Ceasars running while no one is there or Vince delivering stuff people really need and @laffinglotus who goes to the store for our family. I've been obsessed with these masks designing for everyone's needs. They must cover fully & snug. They should be breathable but have extra protection so I added an activated carbon fiber hepa filter. I added the snaps so it's washable and the elastic is removable. And it MUST look good. I used my painter's canvas and muslin for material so the obvious next step is to add art.
