“I can’t do it,” Ginny whispered.
“You won’t be alone,” Luna whispered back, threading her fingers through Ginny’s as they approached the graveyard.
The weak sun rays shone through the tree as the two women approached the spot they were looking for
Ginny looked around. The quiet serenity did not suit her brother at all and she figured he’d be bored as hell with only the trees for company. There was a bouquet already in front of the stone and a box with the Weasely’s Wizard Wheezes emblem on it. George had already been here. She was sorry she missed him, but they both preferred to make these pilgrimages without the company of other family members.
“Is your mom here too?” Ginny asked.
“Yeah. Over there. We can go say hi after if you like,” Luna said.
Ginny sighed and nodded. She put her offering of a patch from her last Quidditch uniform next to the box. “Happy birthday, Fred,” she whispered.
