Black and gold seem like an appropriate choice for a place called Midnight City! Arrias thought, lacing up the front of her gold and black strapless bodycon dress. The garment hugged her generous hips and thighs, and her ample breasts pushed out between the lacing of the front. The realization of this made her briefly consider bringing along a jacket of some sort. Unfortunately, she could not find anything that would match what she was wearing, so she abandoned the idea in favor of embarrassment.   

Arrias was unaware of carapacian customs on clothing, but given that the majority wore no pants, she hoped they wouldn’t mind her showing a little skin. After all, it was hot on Earth right now, and she didn’t have much in the way of more concealing clothing that wasn’t already packed up in boxes. Ah! Arrias found a happy medium: a sheer, golden scarf which she used as a short shawl once unraveled. Another gift from the empress, as nearly all of her clothes once were.

Draping the scarf shawl over her shoulders, she wrapped the fabric around her front for modesty. Okay, now she was almost ready to go! Slipping on a pair of black ballet flats, she grabbed her purse and headed for the door. It made her feel a bit silly, going through all the trouble of pestering Terezi just to get ‘tasted’, but Arrias was just so curious about the other troll! She seemed mysterious, like an undercover superhero. Or, maybe, a super villain.

Heading down the stairs and into her apartment’s public transportalizer room, she happily ran up to the front as for once there was no long line to wait through. Handing her coordinates to the transportalizer attendant, she stepped up onto the pad and waited with trepidation. Her hands were shaking- she couldn’t remember the last time she visited another place, let alone an entirely different planet. Feeling a brief wave of sadness at the remembrance, Arrias was pulled from her thoughts as she transportalized and dissolved out into what appeared to be a large warehouse of some sort.
