My recent grade report

This is just a short update on how exactly my grades are going, in case anyone was wondering :)

So, my sixth form give out 3 "progress checks" in one year. My first one was after the 6 week tests, back in October, and went a little like this (Let's ignore psychology because I dropped it):

Current grades:

Biology: B

Chemistry: B

Physics: C

Predicted grades:

Biology: A

Chemistry: A

Physics: B

That's mainly for context.

My most recent report was based off both class work and recent assessments. We received it on Thursday, and it went a little like this:

Current grades:

Biology: A

Chemistry: A

Physics: D

Predicted grades:

Biology: A

Chemistry: A*

Physics: B

Firstly, on the bright side, they've moved my Chemistry predicted grade up to an A*, which was really cool for me because Chemistry is definitely my favourite subject and I really want to do well in it. I also feel like it is, by far, my best subject. As for my current grade, I guess they didn't want to be giving out A*s freely, since I've gotten 90%+ in all my test. But I've still gone up since last time so I'm happy with it!

Biology is honestly just so consistent. Im happy with it. I don't really need to get an A* in Biology, so whilst it'd be cool to work towards one, getting As is definitely good enough for me.

Physics. Uh. 😅 not so great... I've gone down in grades somehow :/ I'm doing practice nearly everyday and still making revision resources for all lessons - like I do with all my subjects. Something isn't working with Physics, and to be totally honest I don't really know what, and it's really hard not to just give up.

Anyway! I don't want to go all depressing, so that's that!

oooooo grade update!!!! school hasn’t officially even started yet and i’m already trying to get ahead

got my winter semester grades back and i don’t think i’ve ever been happier or more proud of myself and my progress in school. i have just a year left of classes and i’m glad to be slowly ending it all off in such a positive way.

I’m really proud of my grades this semester. It was kind of a toughie in some ways and I didn’t expect to do so well. Statistics was particularly hard and I hated most of it so I’m really glad I pulled off a B! Here’s to another successful semester for us all!

IM BACK FROM MY HIATUS WITH MORE GRADES BECAUSE THIS IS MY QUARTWR GRADE BUT WITH THE BULLSHIT MCPS SEMESTER SYSTEM MY SEMESTER GPA IS 3.9 FUCK YEAH

i got an A+ on a paper that i somewhat procrastinated on, and even upon re-reading just now, don’t really believe it deserves such a high mark.

however, i did put a lot of work into researching stuff for it and trying to make it sounds good + it was a topic i really cared about, so i’m really happy my prof thinks it merits a good grade like that!!! :-)

I’m slowly getting grades back as finals are continuing and also ending. I only have one final grade so far but some papers are getting marked too.

I got an A- (84) on a 12 page research paper that I was pretty stressed about over so that was really nice especially since I only got a B (75) on the outline. 

my grades are not going to be very impressive this semester, I know that. I took on six courses and had a difficult last few months. I’m here though, and I’ve survived and I will let myself be happy with simply passing this semester.
