okay so the tl;dr of this post by @rasazys-ramblings on how to make your own color/gradient text:
Make a new post ON DESKTOP you will cry if you try this on mobile
Click settings (the gear in the top right)
Change 'Text Editor' from rich text to HTML
Start in preview and type whatever it is you want
Once you're done and you know what you want in a different SINGLE color, type something you can identify easily in front of and behind it. This is what I do:
Then paste this into your post: <span style="color:#hexcode;'">Your text</span>
Right next to that. So:
Replace what's bold & italic (hexcode for the color you want and Your text, don't mess with anything else.)
For mine, I wanted grey (#c5c6c7) and the fancy font off of Fun Text, so my code thing became:
Then cut the code bit (ctrl/cmd + x), leave the previous text alone and go into the HTML view (top left of the post)
See where it says whatever you typed (in this example, !!!REPLACE!!!)?
Select everything from the first bit to the end bit
And paste in the code you made. (mine was " <span style="color:#c5c6c7;'">𝐇𝐚𝐚𝐬</span> ")
Boom, done.
For gradient text, open this site and then type in what it asks (text, colors, etc) and paste the code from the bottom instead of the code OP gave. I haven't figured out how to make it accept non-default text, so you're stuck with colorized tumblr font for this one.
