What did you just call me? (hiya :] )
6. Boss
"I called you the boss."
Off to a Running Start - gradiesfandom
"Well," Inara said, her voice holding the waver of the sing of a violin bow drawn all too hesitantly across the strings, "this is what they wanted Grey Wardens for, right?"
It was almost a joke. She almost expected Lyna to tell her that this was insane, that they should both go home to Denerim and take ship, run far, far away from all this. Lyna had always been the more sensible one of the pair, after all - when it came to silly things like surviving, at least. But faced with this, standing there on that cliff overlooking the Kocari Wilds staring into the forest that seemed to be twisting, blackening before their very eyes, watching shadows dart to and fro between the trees out in the distance while the glint of metal and sound of men hoisting up barricades and traps below rang out through that valley... it all seemed much too real much too soon.
"This wasn't really what I pictured war to look like," Inara confided in her friend then, as they stood on those crumbling ruins so up high above it all. Inara's eyes could count what must have been bloodstains on the dirt, the grass. Their numbers told a chilling tale. "Guess the tales pretty it up a bit, so you can dream about the glory and still sleep at night, huh?"

Send me "What did you just call me?" and I will generate a number from 1-40 for what my muse will have called yours.18 - Idiot
“I called you—“ Inara’s voice faltered, then, her anger dissipating in an instant, turning cold in her stomach and freezing, bitter tasting in her throat. She swallowed it back, hard and stinging as it was, and forced herself to breathe deep, to release those shuddering muscles rather than tighten up, than lash out again.
“I was—“ wrong. But though she was repentant, she was still what she was. Ice and anger and every bit as full of vitriol as her flawed words. She may have been sorry; but she was not at peace. How could she have been so--
“Forget it,” she hoped that the words would settle for an apology for now. She hesitated before giving Lyna one more quick, tight squeeze about the shoulders. “You’re still alive.”
“I’ll lecture you properly later.”
You're too cute

1. Aggressive Kiss (This is kinda perfect. Haha.)
Luca could not remember why they were fighting. It had started after they had left camp. Neria had said something that had irritated him, and he had responded in kind, and it had all gone downhill from there.
She was now walking beside him, her face scrunched up in obvious annoyance. He did not like the way her eyes were narrowed, the lines that had formed on her forehead. He wanted to reach over and smooth them out. But that act was far too delicate; the angry energy that was building in his body would not allow it.
He lasted for a few minutes, his arms crossed to keep them from reaching for her and his eyes set on the road before them. But then he made the mistake of looking at her. Their eyes met, and the crossness he saw in her gaze did not anger him. On the contrary, it made him want her.
He moved. Threw his arms around her, pulled her to his body, and crushed his mouth to hers.
"It'll help if you talk about it."
"So I've been told," Risa said with a sigh, "but somehow that never really seems to work." She shrugged.
"What is there, really, to say? That I used to be a princess, and was exiled to die in the Deep Roads after my brother framed me for our oldest brother's death? That my father allowed me to be exiled because an investigation would only draw more attention to the scandal?"
Risa sighed. "Talking about it only drives home how completely expendable I was... to my own family. And even still, it doesn't make living on the surface any easier."
She sighed again. "So what's your story? Can't be as depressing as mine, I hope."

36. How well can you cook?
Um… I’m definitely not a gourmet chef. I’ll be honest with you. My dinners usually consist of dinosaur shaped chicken nuggets and instant mashed potatoes. But when I’m feeling adventurous, I can make chicken and rice, and tacos, and omelets, etc. It all tastes good, so that’s what’s important.
53. What is your favorite film?
Ugh, that’s a hard one! Okay… I have to list three because reasons. It’s between Stuck in Love (it’s about writers, and living life, and it has Logan Lerman, Lily Collins, and Jennifer Connelly in it, so what’s not to love?), The Lord of the Rings films, and the Incredibles (don’t judge me).
54. What is your favorite song?
At the moment? Fidelity by Regina Spektor.
