One final and one day away from being done with my first semester of grad school! Wowza. This has been the hardest thing I've ever done. Moving away from my fiance and frens and getting back into school as a 28 yr old. I also have had a really hard time not being able to play roller derby. I felt the strongest and most comfortable/confident in my body ever while I played. Since starting grad school I've gained about 10 lbs. Doesn't seem like much but I can see it and feel it and I hate it. I'm still trying to stay as active as possible because I feel better physically and mentally when I work out. I started hitting the bag to relieve stress and I love it. It is challenging and my form isn't perfect but it is a good place holder until I can play derby again. What a semester, thanks all for the love and support and patience while I've been very busy. I look forward to a few days off to see my boo @dredd_the_red and frens and watch some derby!
