If you take the age you were when you had your child and add that to the year you graduated, it equals the year your child will graduate. WHY?!

My grandpa was 20 when my dad was born, he graduated in '65, my dad graduated in '85.
My grandma was 18 when my dad was born, she graduated in '67, my dad graduated in '85.
My mom was 22 when I was born, graduated in '86, I graduated in 2008.
Why does this work? I'm sure the answer is painfully obvious, but I would love an answer!

LPT: Graduated from college and searching for a job? Don't forget to keep studying!
LPT: Graduated from college and searching for a job? Don’t forget to keep studying!
I would imagine most of us are not lucky enough to secure a job right away after college. All of us know it is incredibly competitive out there- especially for those of us trying to get into the technical fields.
However, most people don't consider the fact that they may be on the job search for months. During this period you have nothing but time on your hands -so keep studying! It's incredibly difficult to retain knowledge if you are not using it.
This way when you finally do start to get calls for technical interviews- you will be much better prepared.

The Time
As the past two days have been a blast; well spent with family and friends it came to a close. It's my last time with these amazing wonderful people. They have helped me be who I am today. I have held the sad emotion of moving away for a bit and being away from my family and friends, buy as I lay here in bed I cry with excitement of the opportunity that I have been offered I cry with humble sadness knowing that they have made a mark in my life and as I for them. I'm going to surely miss all of you. I love you all and I hope that we stay in contact. I would love to have calls and just talk about what is new and how your life has been.
