Hamburg
On 25th September 2019 it has been five years since Walter „OZ“ Fischer has passed away. With his tags, smileys, squiggles, dots or big and multicolored pieces he fought back the city’s ever extending grey and literally left his mark on the cityscape. OZ didn’t exclude any surface from his paintings and besides the huge amount of single artworks, his eye for the perfect spot and his individual style made him a truly unique artist.
When Emmett E. visited Hamburg in 2018 it was the main mission to document the last remains of OZ’ life’s work which disappears more and more due to crossings, buff or natural fading. The 320 paged book “Hamburg” gives a hint of the extent Walter Fischers work really had.
To the occasion of the 5th anniversary we will offer “Hamburg” for only 25,00 € instead of 35,00 € for the whole week (until 29th September, 23:59). Although the price is lower for that time, we still donate a part of the profit to projects which aim to preserve OZ’ work.
