Graham makes me uncomfortable and he’s definitely against feminism and only didn’t make a big deal out of Marisol & MC because he didn’t think it counted as much as if MC was a guy

Agreed. It could just be bad writing, but it definitely seems like Graham would be the type to physically intimidate the other guys if they cracked on with Marisol, and he only didn't make a scene because it was MC.

Graham gives me Bad Vibes because:

He's really rude the first time he meets MC? Like he makes it very clear that he's not romantically interested in her, which is totally fine! My issue is that he refuses to be friendly if he doesn't have romantic interest. Like not only does he not want to be anyone's friend, he actively cultivates a standoffish relationship with women he's not interested in.

His haircut

He's really weird about people making boat/sailing puns? Like either chuckle along in bemused annoyance or clearly say "hey guys, I hear that all the time, it's not funny and I'd appreciate it if you laid off". But he gets super condescending about it.

The whole sex dungeon thing. Like was he really gonna try to do BDSM in a blanket fort with the whole villa? My guess is no. So then he was just posturing to everyone else and being all like "ooooh look I do BSDM" which makes me... uncomfy. There's nothing inherently disturbing about kink, but in my experience people who try to project that they're into it are a little.... yikes. Like most people are quiet about it unless it comes up. Men especially who proudly and constantly proclaim they're doms give me the ick.

His whole reaction to MC stealing Marisol. Like he hadn't discussed his relationship with Marisol at all, at any point. Maybe that's more on Marisol, because I can easily see her continuing to lead him on until she's positive coupling with MC will work, but still.

i know this sounds crazy, how who do you think would most likely cheat after the villa? i just know that rocco and jacub would get bored w/ the mc & i couldn’t see someone like bobby cheating. felix probably would to make himself feel better and make himself believe he’s out of our league even though it’s the other way around.

Honestly I think most of the islanders don’t leave the villa as boyfriend/girlfriend, so there wouldn’t be much to cheat on. I doubt Elisa and Bobby have an expectation of exclusivity- same for most of the other couples.

Marisol definitely cheats on Graham. After the show, there are so many people interested in her, and she feels wanted for the first time. Graham really wasn’t that amazing anyways. She tries it on with a few other people and then finds someone better, dates them for a bit, and then when she’s sure they’re solid breaks up with Graham. This would be a scandal, if anyone actually cares about Graham and Marisol.

Noah wouldn’t cheat on Hope, he’d be too despondent and preoccupied with their relationship to do so. I think Hope would have a one night stand with a coworker at some point, wouldn’t tell him, and then they break up a few weeks later. Noah never found out, but that’s karma for wanting to cheat with MC on national television.

Lottie legitimately forgets she’s in a relationship with Gary. They text a bit after the show, but both lose interest with each other. She’s dating a new bloke when someone comments ‘what happened to Gary?!’ and she realizes she never formally broke up with him. She still doesn’t, but this time it’s consciously. I imagine Gary lowkey does the same. 

Assuming they’re coupled with MC? I don’t think Lurik, Bobby, Carl, Kassam, or Marisol would cheat on MC. I can kindaaaa see Gary cheating, and definitely see Rahim cheating while away on a golf trip.

Can we all just agree on that Elijah was just saying whatever Chelsea wanted to hear to get back into the villa?

Absolutely- I think all the villa guys were doing that except Kassam and Carl. Even Graham I kinda feel like got too serious with Marisol really fast, in a way that’s not super organic.

But yeah, I’d say that Elijah was the best-looking guy in casa, but his attitude put me off. Makes me glad Chels didn’t bring him back.

i feel like felix is the type to say slurs just for fun

I would push back against the ‘just for fun’ part, because I feel like no one over the ages of 14 say slurs ‘for fun’ and we need to recognize the more insidious roots of it- Felix says slurs when singing and in passing because it makes him feel cool. 

The root of that is because our culture fetishizes the culture of minorities (in Western culture it’s the Latino and black community) to be ‘cool’ and ‘edgy’. This is super harmful because 1) these words are not for people outside of that race to reclaim 2) it perpetuates stereotypes that minorities can’t be educated/refined/multifaceted humans 3) contributes to the appropriation of AAVE.

I lowkey think the only Islanders who use slurs intentionally maliciously (all uses are malicious) are Rahim, Jo, and Graham. I can see Rahim being anti-Semitic and a 4Channer that just likes getting people upset, and Jo/Graham definitely use the ‘hard r’ to dehumanize people.
