Hi there. Hope youre having a good day so far! How do you think Marisol would comfort a sad/upset MC?

Marisol definitely struggles to comfort people, full stop, but it’s a little easier for her when the stakes are lower (I.E. work was stressful that day as opposed to a bad mental health day). 

If MC gives her a heads up that the day was shitty, Marisol will definitely stop and pick up food or some kind of treat to surprise her with because ~gift giving~. 

If you’re venting, Marisol has a tendency to analyze the situation and cut people off with solution suggestions- despite MC not getting to the part yet where she already tried that and not necessarily even wanting solutions as much as she wants someone to listen. If MC explains to her that ‘I just need you to validate me, not solve my problems’, Marisol will lowkey space out during the rest of the rant because she’s still thinking about the solutions she’s just not saying them.

But on the up side, Marisol is super conscientious of her partner when they’re upset and will do everything in her power to make things easier. That involves a lot of care-taking: ‘let me make you food, clean things for you, run errands, take things off your plate’.

Marisol might be one of the worse girls to go to with problems in the villa, second to Lottie (because Lottie will just immediately blame whoever and whatever she can and not hold you accountable/realistically look at the situation)

Conversely, I feel like the S2 villa ladies who would be the best at comforting you would be Hope and Hannah. Hope because she’s a really active listener and knows when’s the right time to validate you and when’s the right time to take action, and Hannah because she’s so sweet that she’d just pull you into your lap (and maybe do that midsommar scream cry with you).

What would happen if MC was jealous towards Marisol?

I’m sorry this took so long to push out!! But it’s the weekend now so I’m freeee

MC trusts Marisol with all her heart because out of everyone in the villa, Marisol is the only adult

When she notices her standing maybe a little tooclose, or leans in a little too much, she bristles at how irrational her jealousy is 

She tries to push it down, knowing how amusing Marisol would find it 

MC makes subtle comments here and there about how much she trusts Marisol. and how she loves how mature and open their relationship is 

MC would be a lot more affectionate in public. 

Lots of caresses. Lots of casual touching. Lots of playful kisses. 

After a while, Marisol picks up on what’s happening 

She doesn’t break it to MC immediately but observes her behavior more closely. 

She starts noticing MC’s furtive glances, and her hands wringing whenever she’s not at least an arm’s length away

Marisol admits to herself (maybe it strokes her ego) 

And she quietly enjoys it for a few moments (though she’d never admit it) 

But when she saw how conflicted and upset MC was

She immediately takes her hand and leads her to the daybeds and sits her down

“Ok, I know what’s up.” she says, looking at MC pointedly. 

MC avoids her eyes but then she saw how she checks herself, looking directly. 

Marisol smiles and gently pulls MC to her, leaning back and softly stroking her hair. 

“It’s ok to be vulnerable around me, love.” 

MC buries her face in her hair. She feels warm tears on her shoulder. 

“I’m stupid. You didn’t even do anything.” she mumbles. 

“The fact that you’re upset is enough for me to be concerned.” she whispers, kissing the top of her head. 

“You don’t have to pretend to be ok around me, MC,” she leans down to look at her girlfriend’s eyes. “I love you, all of you.” 

She chuckles at the watery smile she receives

“We don’t have to be perfect. I’d love to grow with you.”

What kind of jewellery would Marisol buy for MC?

In her design, Marisol has a really classic fashion taste- elegant silhouettes, simple clothing without a whole lot of embellishments or sparkle, neutral colors. Even her jewelry in-game is pretty simple. So to me, that means that Marisol’s taste in jewelry and accessories is really refined. She would never buy MC heart-shaped shit because she knows it’s hard to match and kind of ugly. 

Instead, I think Marisol would pay close attention to what MC likes and regularly wears, then buy her tasteful staple pieces to compliment that style. My MC Sveta hardly ever wears jewelry, so Marisol would notice that Sveta usually wears jewel tones so she would get her really simple gold necklaces and bracelets- things made out of simple shapes that have more focus on quality than flashiness. Marisol would definitely get a bit hurt when Sveta inevitably doesn’t wear them that often, so instead she’d get Sveta something she would wear- a really nice watch. 

But if Marisol’s girlfriend loved statement necklaces or glittery jewelry, Marisol would buy her tasteful pieces in her girlfriend’s style. I firmly believe Marisol’s love language is gift giving, so she’d find out on the down-low what MC’s favorite minerals/gemstones are and definitely buy her some expensive pieces with that. Lowkey I think Marisol would really hype up the cartier love bracelet type of thing- something with a lot of infamy that people associate with status- so when she was wealthy enough she’d buy MC one. The possessiveness of ‘this woman is mine and that bracelet never comes off’? Marisol is so into that.

When do you think/ how do you think the Kids Conversation™ goes? I'm mostly curious about Noah, but do you have hc for the others too? Also I replayed s1 to end up with Jake and in the fucking christmas party the gane told me I was with Levi, LEVI! Yikes

Big yikes babe. From what I’ve heard, that glitch is pretty common. Thankfully I never got it because I always finish with my girl Talia💖🥰😍

Bobby: If MC tries to sit down with him and have a big discussion, Bobby would be surprised she feels it needs to be so formal and be like “well yeah, of course I want to give you a baby.” He doesn’t mind putting it off/timing it right, because those are all details. He just wants to have a family with MC, doesn’t much mind how it happens. He’s a lot less stressed about the details of career/finances, and always says “no one feels ready. When it happens we’ll make it work.”

Carl: Carl will be surprised at the suggestion, and tease MC about being a housewife, but will readily agree to it to make her happy. He’s not opposed to kids, per se, especially because he’s not home super often. He always kind of assumed he’d have kids, so it seems like a natural next step. 

Gary: I know I always paint Gary as a clueless simp, but this is the funniest thing: I think Gary’s catholic, so he doesn’t believe in protection once they’re married. MC doesn’t mind and they stop using condoms around the time he proposes, but she gets an implant/IUD. So after they’re married, maybe like a few months after, MC broaches the topic of “do you want to start a family”. Gary responds of course, and MC says, “ok, well I’ll get off birth control and we’ll have to start timing it out.” And Gary’s like???? “Babe we don’t use birth control. What do you mean timing it out?” MC’s confused, and Gary explains that he’s been trying to knock her up since they got engaged. Once she explains that wasn’t possible, Gary’s absolutely shocked and a little offended they didn’t talk about it. But I just think the idea of Gary being like “??? … Um yeah I want to have a kid, but it hasn’t happened yet. When God wills it-” and MC being like 😐😐😐 “yeah… Um… So the reason it hasn’t happened yet is….”

Henrik: MC brings it up over dinner, randomly blurting out “I want to have a baby.” and Henrik is like “Oh. You... You wanted to do that… Like now?” MC laughs and says not right now, but soon. “I want to start a family with you. Henrik nods and says “dope.” MC gasps a little bit and is like “Dope?! That’s all you can say?!”, and Henrik grins, “Yeah, of course I want to have a couple of kids with you. Just… What’s changed now?” MC thinks for a bit, they’d been married for a year and a half now and it wasn’t like their finances were more in order with Henrik freelancing and MC being a charity worker. “I don’t know, I just feel ready.” Henrik nods and holds up his glass, “to the next great adventure, then.” 

Lucas: Lucas does not want to have this conversation and will change the subject/refuse to talk about it unless cornered. He’s loathe to talk about his trauma of being neglected as a child, and refuses to call it trauma, and he’s terrified of doing that to another kid. The only way you’re having a kid with Lucas is if it’s an accident. 

Marisol: If  MC wants kids when they first get married, Marisol’s really flippant about it. Absolutely not- both of their careers are too new and they don’t have the funds or time for a baby. She thinks MC’s  insane for even asking, and absolutely will not seriously have that conversation. But like 15-20 years later? When they’re both in their forties? I know I’d go to her and say, “listen. We’re both in a really good place financially, and I want to share that. I’ve wanted to be a mom for awhile now, and we’re finally in a place where we can do that. Maybe a baby isn’t right for us, but we could foster? I’d want you to also be mom, but if you can’t be home any more than you are right now, that’s fine. I want to make this work.” After a really long talk about their futures and what they want to do, Marisol agrees- it’s much easier for her to conceptualize an older child in need as opposed to a baby. They look into foster-to-adopt programs, and maybe they foster a kiddo who’s around 8 years old. They fall in love with her, but adopting falls through as the kid’s mom gets out of prison and earns back custody. As they’re looking into just adopting (because they can’t take that heartbreak again), they meet a 15 year old who’s in fostercare and agree to take them in. The teenager definitely has a lot of behavioral/mental problems, but they pour their hearts into helping him and end up adopting him a few months before his 18th birthday. They go on to adopt several more kids who are close to aging out and make their home a refuge. A bunch of their kids are able to go to college, and their family christmas parties are amazing. Sorry, I got really carried away in this fantasy I want this so much oml.

Noah: With Noah, it’s not really one conversation. As time goes on he and MC have a lot of really open communication about the future. If Noah’s considering moving positions, when MC goes to a physical and considers replacing her IUD, definitely when they were buying their house. I think a lot of it is “I really want to have a family but right now is not a good time in my career/financial life/social life”. It’s probably a year or so into the marriage, when they’ve settled into their house and been dating for 2 years before that, where MC sits him down and says “let’s talk.” He raises his eyebrows and nods, “should I make some tea?”. MC laughs and kisses him, “it’s not that kind of conversation, love.” She has to take some deep breaths before she says, “I want to start our family.” He takes a really shaky breath and laughs, “You got me really worked up.” “So what do you think?” “What do I think?” He’s stretching his arms and exhaling loudly. He shakes his head and brushes at the tears in his eyes and then he gets up to hug you. “Of course. Of course. Nothing would make me happier. I love you so much. Come here.” 

Rocco: Lol. You’re trying to have kids with Rocco? Do not. Don’t get me wrong, he could be a good dad in like 10 years, but he’s way too focused on himself right now. Having kids with Rocco at this stage would result in him abandoning yall and then showing up 5-10 years later feeling bad and wanting to reconnect. The baby conversation would start with him being surprised, and then end with him being creepily excited about getting to raw you. 0/10.

How do you think the og boys would handle jealousy?

ok so @bobbysapron is doing an amazing series of asks about jealousy and I love literally all of them, they’re so good, and literally everything they post is so good. 

But if I had to conjecture- (also I see your ‘OG boys’ and raise you to ‘the LIs I actually care about’)

Bobby-

He deals with it internally (check my masterlist for more hcs about that because I’ve talked about it quite a bit) but if he’s feeling especially jealous and bitter he’ll handle it by being passive-aggressive. I forget who (reply and I’ll tag you!!) said that Bobby would make comments like “man that guy has a punchable face”, but literally that. If MC has close guy friends, he’ll always be trying cut them down with a subtle “He seems like... REALLY into himself” or “I feel bad for that guy’s future wife”. It’s shady and shitty and would especially bother me, but it’s what he’d do imo

Carl-

He’d get over it by flexing. He doesn’t even realize he’s doing it, but if he’s feeling jealous about a specific guy he’ll buy MC a new dress/earrings and encourage her to wear it around him, or dress extra nice (which for Carl means googling ‘Mens Fashion’ and copying a look verbatim). His emotional permanence is like 2 days, though, so he gets over it really quickly even if MC doesn’t reassure him because he forgets that he was upset and also reasons ‘but she’s coming home with me’. 

I just really don’t think Henrik gets jealous. He definitely can have his feelings hurt if MC’s violating his trust, but it never manifests in possessiveness or jealousy. 

Rahim-

He bottles it up until he’s really worked up about it, then blames MC. He’ll keep an internal log of ‘she touched his shoulder’ ‘she laughed at his joke for a little too long’ ‘she smiled at him x many times’ and throw it in her face if/when they argue about it. He also wants to flex, but unlike Carl he doesn’t do it reactively. Instead, he’ll just loudly and obnoxiously boast about buying MC jewels/vacations/cars as if that gives him ownership or something. Luckily he doesn’t get jealous very often, only when a guy is very clearly pursuing MC.

Lucas-

Most of his jealousy gets funneled into possessiveness and sexy stuff. He’s really turned on by his girl being ogled by other men, and really only gets properly jealous if MC is actively flirting with someone else. If he is feeling jealous, he broods about it for a while before dramatically giving MC an ultimatum. Of course she picks him and they have pretty forceful makeup sex. 

Marisol-

She gets horribly jealous when she feels upstaged or threatened (which isn’t super often because she rightfully knows that she’s a catch) and it manifests in her either being super bratty or trying to make MC jealous in return.  If it’s the first one, she’ll pout a lot and if MC asks what’s up she’ll insist “nothing!” and still be really fussy towards MC. Then, if pressed, she’ll devolve into crying that “I feel like you don’t care about me.” If it’s not that (which let’s be honest, she gets that way if she’s jealous of a woman, if she’s jealous of a man it’ll be this second way), she tries to make MC jealous.

Noah-

I don’t think he gets jealous often if at all. If he does, like Bobby, it’s all channeled inwards and it’s about blaming himself for his failings. He’ll absolutely punish himself if MC is spending a lot of time with a handsome, smart, funny guy.

so i’ve always felt like Marisol’s glasses were too small for her face (original is no. 1). I ~sloppily~ cobbled together some alternative looks, I’m partial to no. 2 and 4.

No one asked but here are some headcanons I have for the different LIs and their relationship to Disney. All the park-related ones I have will be for Disney World (instead of Disneyland). This is a long one so I apologize, I just have Thoughts(TM).

Bobby

Insists on riding journey into imagination every time MC and him go to the park. He knows it’s not as good as it used to be but he still thinks it’s delightful. He never even went back when it was the original ride, but he’s read enough about it to buy into the hype. He definitely owns a plushie of figment

He’s not really one to meet the characters, preferring the shows instead, but he got really blushy the one time he met Belle because she’s his favorite.

Bobby always got the citrus swirl and is genuinely salty that they’ve removed it

He’s a little too into Disney. Whenever MC suggests a vacation he always suggests it and like... Bobs... I want to travel to actual places. He’s definitely made the argument that ‘epcot is basically like travelling!’

His favorite Disney movie is Sleeping Beauty because he loves the art and the music (and secretly really liked the idea of saving a girl who’s vulnerable)

He’s WAY too into the live action remakes. He’ll rant about Belle’s dress and how Emma Watson refusing to wear a corset or structure ruined the design. He paid $30 to watch Mulan which is Big Yikes considering... everything about that. 

Noah

He’s not really into Disney. He didn’t watch the movies growing up, and when people have tried to be like !!!you NEED to watch ‘x’!!! He never got over thinking they were overhyped. He definitely did not like Frozen or Tangled, and he justifies it with a bunch of nitpicks he’s learned from articles and blogs but the real reason is that he didn’t want to like them. 

He definitely is slightly condescending to people who are big Disney fans (which like... Sir.... You’re a homestuck stan get over it), but if MC admits she really likes Disney he’ll bite his tongue. He’d be happy never having visited the parks, but if MC wants to go he’ll go along without complaining too much.

He gets super overwhelmed in the parks. Lots of people, lots of noise, lots of waiting in the heat, it’s not his scene. 

Not to force Bobby/Noah down yalls throat (who am I kidding I love that ship so much), but oh my godddd. Bobby dragging Noah around and excitedly explaining lore and talking about his favorite rides while Noah is quiet and incredibly stressed. Noah’s stress slowly gives way to quiet amusement- he doesn’t like the parks but he LOVES how enthusiastic Bobby is about them. He quietly buys Bobby a ton of merch and intently listens to all of Bobby’s rambling. 

After being forced to do basically everything, Noah genuinely enjoys the carousel of progress. He’ll bashfully ask Bobby to ride it at the end of the day, and Bobby will be like ‘we already did?’ and Noah will blush and not say anything. Bobby of course agrees. 

His favorite Disney movie is the Hunchback of Notre Dame. 

Carl 

Enjoys going to the park just fine but ONLY if yall have a fastpass and if he’s able to make an itinerary for the day. He gets pretty stressed if they’re off schedule, but will calm down once they find a quiet corner to sit. 

He LOVES avatar land. I think highkey Carl loved the movie and world, so he was already hype for the park, but he adores the immersion and the worldbuilding. He would spend all day just wandering around and not going on any rides if he could. He doesn’t care about Magic Kingdom at all, but always goes specifically for avatar land.

Disney was definitely a hyperfixation of his at one point. I think he didn’t really care all that much about park history, but he loves the corporate politics and knows way too much about Disney history abroad. 

He’s one of those dudes who think Disney ruined starwars and refuses to go to Galaxy’s Edge because of it (even if he’d really enjoy it). I want to clarify that he’s not an incel saying that Rey shouldn’t be a main character, he thinks the first new movie was amazing but its potential was squandered.

His favorite movie is Treasure Planet

Henrik

Not huge on Disney but he won’t say no to a theme park. He’s especially into roller coasters, so all of the mountains are his jam. I think he prefers Six Flags, but if MC wants to go to Disney they’ll go. His favorite rides are all the mountains accordingly.

You think they’re staying anywhere other than Fort Wilderness? You’re wronggggg. He’s lowkey salty that it’s so commercialized, but loves the canoeing anyways. He will complain forever about the mosquito bites tho ’ they’re way worse than they normally are’.

Loves!!! the cats!!! He’ll always try to pet them and MC has to remind him they’re feral. 

HATES!!! Small world!!!! He thinks it’s really creepy and doesn’t really like slow boat rides anyways. 

He always brings games for the long lines and doesn’t mind waiting unless they’re in the sun. He sunscreens up but burns anyways. He carries the backpack and MC doesn’t need to bring a purse- he’s got the water and the storage and the money and everything they could possibly need. MC might find his ‘treating the parks like a hike’ a bit annoying, but always appreciates his preparedness.

His favorite Disney movie is Atlantis (do you see what I’m doing I’m just projecting my favorites onto my favorite LITG characters. Realistically his favorite Disney movie would probably be Brave or The Princess and the Frog, but it’s my sleepover and I get to pick the movie)

Marisol

I shouldn’t even have to say it, but we all know Marisol is a Potterhead, right? She always laments that Universal studios is better and wants to go there instead of Disney. She’ll only agree to go to Disney if they go to Universal first. And she buys a cloak/vest specifically for Universal, but refuses to wear anything themed Disney in the parks. Marisol will act embarrassed if MC wants to wear ears but maam... You created a whole backstory for your self-insert HP character to use in the park...

She loves Haunted Mansion. Full stop, end of thought. She just really likes it and it’s the only line she won’t complain it.

She definitely complains about the crowd and people in general....

She won’t admit how much she likes the shows, despite getting really into them.

Her favorite park is Animal Kingdom because she genuinely likes zoos. Her favorite ride is the Conservation Station boat tour. 

Gets excessively sappy during the fireworks display. She’s definitely cried and kissed MC a few times. 

Her favorite Disney movie is Frozen II because she has bad taste but also wants wlw representation. She definitely has watched the Tangled tv series and is unironically invested in it, though. I think a lot of Disney movies are her guilty pleasure- she really likes the Tinkerbelle movies and some of the animated kids shows even if she’s super embarrassed about it. She adores Gravity Falls and that’s because she has impeccable taste.
