"The life of a fire fighter has been closely assoiated with the ringing of a bell which calls him to duty and to place his life in jepordy for the good of his fellow man and with each alarm through the day and night being signaled by the ringing of the bell and when the alarm was complete and the call had ended it was the bell that marked the shifts end and their freedom to return home but now for our brother graham hoffman having made the ultiment sacrifice his duties well done his tasks complete he is clear to go home and the bell rings 3x fallowed by a pause then another 3x fallowed by a pause and three final times in honor of his life and legacy to the kansas city fire department."
