They finally showed up at my apartment and I’m about ready to find a bunker to hide in, yo
Let’s hide together
Today’s IT HURTS update is a very special guest comic by @grailytoast ! It is absolutely glorious. I am so happy with how this turned out. Thank you so much @grailytoast for being so talented and funny and just plain amazing. <333
Hey, I didn't know you were playing Skyrim, good times! How are you liking it and what kind of character are you playing?
I am! It went on crazy low black friday sale so I bought it. I’m playing a wood elf because of course I am, and it’s basically like why did it take me so long to get this game, it’s awesome.
So have you been seeing all the hubbub (besides my personal hubbubbing) about the new Berserk episode? I'm not sure if you mentioned if you're caught up with the manga tho. In any case, it's a good time to be a fan!
I HAVE NOT actually. I am really unconnected from most fandoms aside from hetalia. Most of the people I follow on tumblr are friends. (Running out of room going to edit post in a sec after publishing it so hang on there’s more)
Ok here's the rest.
I'm nowhere near caught up with the manga LOL. I read several volumes of it when dark horse started putting it out after seeing the anime in college. I don't remember which one I got to but then I moved to NC and haven't really been buying manga out here due to the nearest bookstore being 40 minutes away. Manga was always kind of an impulse purchase for me since there was no guarantee ever they'd have the thing I want (I am from a small town in il where there was nothing but it wasn't very far to get to the nothing...although there IS a random Tolkien themed memorial park there. It is small but it exists and there are dragon statues....) so I would buy whatever they had that looked interesting or was the next installment of a thing I was reading. I don't really buy books online that often.
I would like to catch up but am not sure where to start. I live in the middle of banjo country so I doubt the town library has them there japanime comics except for uh Naruto or something.
(I tried to go to the library here once but apparently it's closed on Sundays??? No booze or books in the south on Sundays)
I guess reading online is an option but I usually have 30 or 40 tabs open so giving a manga my undivided attention is rough. And is there an officially licensed place to read?
I don't mind spoilers, though! What's going on with the new thing?
56. What do you like on your toast? 57. What is the last thing you drew a picture of?
56. I don’t eat bread anymore but I enjoyed butter on toast, but it has to be fully melted. I also liked for sandwiches to be toasted.
57. My parrot, Herschel, wearing home-made cowboy boots, which I did on my notes during a meeting at work today. (No, I don’t actually have a parrot named Herschel, and I didn’t make boots for him; this is an inside joke...)

Dude you hate the deep roads? I love the deep roads! Maybe it’s my dwarvish nature and desire to be underground at all times, lol.
You can keep your caves, my dwarven friend. I am an elf, of course I hate the deep roads. I want to climb trees and eat bugs and do other stereotypical elf things.

Don’t worry, my mom still tries to dress me too. Moms be wacky
why can’t I wear a blazer to a malibu wedding? my dad gets to wear a blazer to the malibu wedding #sexism
“you’ll be uncomfortable if you look out of place” my ass. I’ll be more uncomfortable if i feel like a badly made up drag queen.
