I got this manga for Christmas and it is really good. The first volume doesn’t get very far, but you can read quite a bit further on Manga Rock (or any other reader you use) and then the story really picks up. 

The art is beautiful, so that’s reason alone to try it out, but the concept is also really interesting. Basically, different seeds have different powers, and you can gain these powers by ingesting the seeds. However, the survival rate is a little over 2% and it’s also illegal. But of course, the main character (Luca) is forced to do it anyways. 

It has the bromance element that I really like between Luca and his best friend, and seems like that sort of theme is going to continue on throughout as all the characters are very attractive males <3 . It also has the kind of action and risk that make a series exciting for me. It has rebellion, but with two sides to every story, and some great back stories that have been (and I’m sure will continue to be) revealed. All in all I’m excited about this one, and I can’t wait for the next chapter to come out!
