It's National Grandparents day! My dear friend Pema called her sweet grandma "Gram Crackers", and then this little doodle was born. Both my grandmas were sweet, smart women. Grandma Flo used to call me "Dollyface" and was a fashionista for her time and my other Nana was the best letter-writer--her last words were "Oh, what an experience!". And yes, both always had a bit of candy around. It was sweet to see my mom be a grandma too. They all passed on a legacy of love.
