Day 24/100: The Ring Diacritic '°' or the 'angstrom' (I've not got the correct accents to type this word correctly, alas). It typically sits above letters a, o & u in languages such as Danish, Norwegian & Swedish, considered part of the letter itself, but distinct from the letter when present without the ring. It is also present in Czech but goes by a different name (Krouzek). I find it fascinating how languages & grammar rules manifest & the differences in alphabets & most commonly used letters differ across the languages.
