Beyoncé is a talented artist but that doesn’t mean she deserves to win every single award she’s nominated for…….

She hasn’t and she doesn’t.

But she deserved this one, my opinion. You disagree and that is yours.

I also think bad bunny, Adele, or Lizzo would have been more appropriate wins.

I’m not worked up I’m just displeased.

It’s not about losing one award, it’s about black women and minorities being shut out of this particular category repeatedly; losing to the works of white men that are not of the same quality.

But yes Bey is the most winning artist and that is huge but it doesn’t take away from the larger systemic problem😊

i love boygenius, don’t get me wrong, but how did they win against lana? the fact that she has been nominated SIXTEEN TIMES and has never won is insane to me. especially since she has such a greater influence and is honestly a backbone of the music industry. again, i’m happy for boygenius, but what about lana?

Well now the argument that the Grammy's ONLY bases their choices on popularity is INVALID.

Because Speak Now sold a million in a week and it still wasn't nominated. And if she was nominated for Album of the Year, you know all the haters would just say "DIS IS A POPULARITY CONTEZT." So at least we can all avoid that.
