I used to have a favorite restaurant in Rockwell, Grams Diner, until it was demolished to make way for something else. And then I heard after some time from my friend, who also happens to be the owner, that they moved to Bonifacio Global City but it was already franchise-owned. So I decided to check it out with my brothers, and ordered my usual. The menu changed a bit, they removed some dishes, and renamed the others. Probably a little changes too on preparations, but it was still good nonetheless.
GRAMS Diner's magazine-inspired menu.
This magazine idea seemed cool to me, but the layout could have been better. The pages were too cluttered... Maybe it just needs some organizing.
GRAMS World Famous Beef Tapa
Just like the old times, I still love their beef tapa. The beef was thinly sliced and cooked to a perfect crisp!
Pork Belly Dancing
This would have to be the usual fix for people who play it safe. It's the usual grilled pork that you order from any other restaurant, no sauce or whatsoever.
Eggs Benny
My brother expected more from this one. Eggs Benedict used to be his favorite in GRAMS. The "poached eggs" of Eggs Benny were not poached, and the ham they used was already different than before (Canadian ham).
Despite the high expectations we had, I think I'd still come back for more beef tapa! The staff were friendly, the ambiance was nice and the lights were well-designed! You may visit GRAMS Diner at 32nd Street of Fort Bonifacio. It's near Starbucks and S&R.
