i love how leila's crayon drawings of tortimer and pascal are on display - not to mention how she's munchin' on a cucumber-on-a-stick. given how kappas love cucumbers, i guess it's no surprise that grams has a ton of them up for grabs next to her. if only we could take one... (maybe someday?)

the photos of the family's arrival on the island are really sweet too! i noticed that the picture of leila and grams building a sandcastle together shows them in their new leaf outfits (and, similarly, the one with leilani and kapp'n also shows her in her new leaf outfit), so maybe it's a throwback to their days on the new leaf island... or maybe it's just their casual clothes for when they aren't decked out in their hotel uniforms. either way, super cute!
