She may not have been at the level of Emiya in the kitchen, but she liked to think she was pretty good. Enough so that when she missed her mom’s home cooking, she could at least somewhat recreate it. Not that she didn’t trust Emiya to make it right, but there was just...something soothing about making it herself.
It made her feel like she was home again...Well, her mom’s cooking was still leagues better than her own, and so was Emiya’s. But that was just her own personal tastes.
“Oh, perfect timing!” she beamed, catching a glimpse of Rider out of the corner of her eye. “Could you hand me a plate, Mom---ah.” Too late she’d realized her mistake, and the word had slipped out. “I-I mean! Um. Uh.” Time to panic.
